Row by Row Hexagon

Simple basic hexagon sc row by row.

I came up with this for a person on one of my groups:

My hex measures 5 1/5 inches from point to point. One side measures 2 1/2 inches.

With an I crochet hook & Medium worsted weight yarn,

chain 11,

Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch and each chain across. ( I worked in the back bump.) (10 sc)

Even rows 2 through row 10: 2 sc in first sc, sc across, 2 sc in last sc.

Even rows 12 through 20: Sc decrease, sc across to last 2 sc, sc decrease.

All Odd rows 1 through row 21: work 1 sc in each sc across.
