Bricks & Lattice Sun Hat

To make the Bricks & Lattice Sun hat, Use Worsted weight cotton and Follow the Bricks & Lattice hat pattern through round 13.

Switch to a crochet hook two sized smaller than what you used for the hat. I used an I/9 (5.5 mm) hook.

Then work the set-up round as follows,

Round 14: Sl st into the first Chain-4 space, chain 3, make 4 dc in same space. Work 5 dc in each ch-4 loop around hat. end with a sl st in top of beginning ch-3. (80 dc)

Now go to the Streamer Summer Hat brim pattern & use a size G hook (or hook two sizes smaller than the last one) and follow the pattern beginning with round 23.
